Dry Fly Float Boats were originally perfected by Dave McIntire and built in Irons, Michigan.  Summer 2017 Dave sold the business to Todd Gignilliat  (gin-lat) and production moved to Traverse City, Michigan in order to continue to provide fly fisherman comfortable access to the waters they love.  We are committed to continuing the same attention to detail and rigorous standards established by Dave with each boat still made by hand to your specific requirements.
